Hélène : Shopping in Brighton with a friend. (18th
March 2004)
I
went back to Brighton, this time in company with my friend Linda. We
were invited to lunch by a lovely, friendly lady I met 18 months or so
ago at a party she threw for a load of girls, and who at that time
lived very close to me in Surrey. Paige is very nice, she made us lunch
( yummy home made pizza) and we chatted for a couple of hours about
life, it's up's and downs and the things we like doing .... she loves
the sea as I do , and as she can facilitate some outings for me .. I'll
be a regular in Brighton from now on I hope.
So
we did the walk along the sea front and got a couple of pics of each
other before hitting the shops. Well Linda and I had an
afternoon of shopping , she bought herself a complete "power suit" and
looked fantastic in it. The wind and rain for a while
did rather put a dampener on things .. but such is life. After a
coffee in a Churchill centre cafe we finished another round of shops,
then went a had a bite to eat in the Kruze Bar, just opposite the pier.
To finish the day off we went to the Mayflower group meeting in Toton.
Following a round trip of 180 miles I got to bed at 1.40 am Friday
morning .... needing to get up early for the next days trip ....
